Gwendolen Road Care Home is situated In Evington close to local amenities and the main city of Leicester. The local train station is less than three miles and Gwendolen Road is on a Direct Bus line into the city of Leicester. GwendolenRoad Care Home has recently been modernised to a very high standard.

Gwendolen Road Care Home has recently been modernised to a very high standard. All residents at Gwendolen Road have there own en-suite shower rooms/toilets and are encouraged and supported to personalise their rooms.
There are separate communal bathrooms where individuals can have a bath. On the ground Floor there is a large reception area and a lift to the second floor, where there are two large dining areas and two spacious main lounges that provide great comfort.
Additionally, there is also a separate lounge where families can spend time alone with their resident family member during visits. A key feature of the home is the large conservatory overlooking the grounds of the home.
Gwendolen Road Care Home is staffed 24 Hours a day with the staffing levels depending on the needs of the individuals. Allag Care has an experienced senior management team, an experienced CQC registered manager and deputy managers with many years experience of working with individuals who have learning difficulties with complex needs/behaviours and Autistic Spectrum, who may be subject to 37/41, 117, community treatment orders (CTO, Forensic History and probation requirements. Gwendolen Road Care Home maintains high standards amongst all staff with regular training , robust inductions & supervisions, appraisals and opportunities to improve employees’ skills and knowledge. All staff are trained to a minimum of level 2 or 3 in care NVQ/QCF Diplomas.
