Gwendolen Road Care Home has recently been modernised to a very high standard. All residents at Gwendolen Road have there own en-suite shower rooms/toilets and are encouraged and supported to personalise their rooms. There are separate communal bathrooms where individuals can have a bath. On the ground Floor there is a large reception area and a lift to the second floor, where there are two large dining areas and two spacious main lounges that provide great comfort.

Additionally, there is also a separate lounge where families can spend time alone with their resident family member during visits. A key feature of the home is the large conservatory overlooking the grounds of the home. The main kitchen is well equipped and individuals are and will be encouraged to develop skills in the main kitchen. There is a separate laundry room and residents can be supported to complete their own laundry. The home is wheelchair accessible and has facilities for individuals with physical disabilities.
